Adobe Audition

Adobe Audition makes use of the customizable work space layouts and interfaces for which Adobe CC products are well-known. This makes it very easy to do anything from simple cuts and splicing to complex audio editing operations. 

It supports a wide variety of audio file formats and codecs, which can be managed through a well-designed Media Browser interface. Each file can be scrubbed through and previewed right in the Media Browser before being placed in the timeline.
